Family-friendly Mindfulness Meditation Class
Family-friendly mindfulness meditation class provides many benefits, including improved focus and attention, reduced stress and anxiety as well as better sleep and a confidence boost, which we all could use from time to time.
We’re pleased to now offer this morning meditation practice led by Brittany of Meditating Mama.
Taking place Saturday, November 9th at 10:00 am, this class teaches parents and children how to be aware of their thoughts and emotions, introduces fun and relaxing breathing techniques, offers guided practice on focusing and releasing distractions, movement and meditation.
Brittany started on her path of meditation at the age of 17, discovering the benefits of many different types of meditation. At the age of 21, she was introduced to Mindfulness Meditation and has been practicing for over 20 years. In 2014, Brittany started Meditating Mama and now guides and teaches public and private semi-guided Mindfulness Meditation classes for beginners all over San Diego.
This class is recommended for kids 5-12. Moms, dads, grandparents, and other caregivers welcome. Registration is required.
Looking for an evening session? Zarah’s weekly meditation class for adults, with a focus on balancing your chakras, is held Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm. Zarah also offers private meditation sessions as well.
