What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a personalized wellness treatment rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Very thin needles are placed at specific points on the body to support balance, relaxation, and healthy circulation.
At Firefly Spa, your acupuncture treatment may also incorporate complementary therapies such as fire cupping, gua sha, moxibustion (moxa), or electrical stimulation, depending on your needs.
Fire cupping uses gentle suction from glass cups to promote circulation and ease muscle tension. Moxibustion (moxa) uses the gentle warmth of dried mugwort to warm specific acupuncture points and support relaxation and circulation.
What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?
Cosmetic acupuncture, also known as facial acupuncture, combines Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern skincare techniques. Treatments may include facial acupuncture, gua sha, and LED light therapy to support a healthy, radiant complexion and improve the appearance of fine lines, puffiness, discoloration, acne scarring, and dullness without injectables.
What to Expect
Your treatment is customized to your wellness goals. The needles are extremely thin, and most clients experience little to no discomfort. You may notice sensations such as warmth, tingling, or relaxation during your session.

Continue your healing journey with a follow-up treatment. Building on your initial consultation, each treatment is tailored to your evolving needs.
Cosmetic Acupuncture

Each session includes facial and body acupuncture to stimulate collagen production, improve circulation, and lift and tone the skin. Along with the needles, a facial massage is performed to encourage lymphatic drainage.
