What is Microneedling?

What to Expect During Your Microneedling Treatment

Your appointment begins with a thorough skin consultation to ensure microneedling is appropriate for your skin and goals.

The treatment includes:
1. Cleansing the treatment area
2. Application of a topical numbing cream for comfort
3. Microneedling using the Rejuvapen NXT® device
4. Application of a soothing post-treatment serum

Most appointments take approximately 60 minutes.

Recovery & Downtime

Following treatment, your skin may appear pink or red, similar to a mild sunburn. Some temporary swelling, dryness, tightness, or sensitivity is normal and typically improves within 24–72 hours.

• Minimal visible signs of treatment by day 3

Sun protection is essential after treatment, and your provider will recommend post-care products to support healing and maximize results.

Makeup & Aftercare

Most clients can return to their normal makeup routine within 48–72 hours after treatment. We recommend using a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and following all post-treatment instructions provided by your practitioner.
